The Belleville Sports Hall of Fame (BSHoF) is pleased to announce a new format for the Belleville High School Athlete of the Year ceremony. The event, which will take place on Monday June 26 at 6:30 pm, will now be separate from the BSHoF induction ceremony, and will focus solely on highlighting the outstanding achievements of young athletes from the community.
The women, sponsored by Donahoe Advantage, travelled to Ajax where they dominated 60-7 over the Ajax Wanderers. Tries were scored by Mackenzie Lapierre (2), Esther Oyetoran (2), Jess Hercus, Lizz Chisholm, Annabelle Clements, Halle Woodcock, Shelly Malette and Sydney Patterson.
The Wellington Dukes are an integral part of the community. Not just Prince Edward County, but both the Quinte Region and Eastern Ontario. The Dukes are considered one of the “Crown Jewels” of the Canadian Junior Hockey League and I take my stewardship of this organization very seriously.
