High school athletics across the Bay of Quinte Athletic Association are reaching their spring seasonal peak. Local student-athletes are transitioning from historic winter championship victories directly into packed regional track schedules and diamond events.

High school sports in the Bay of Quinte are currently in the peak of the spring season as of May 2026. The most significant recent achievement is the St. Theresa Titans claiming their first-ever OFSAA A/AA Boys Hockey championship with an overtime victory at the CAA Arena in Belleville.

Local Skating Clubs Mourn Loss of Hietala

Skate Ontario is saddened to learn of the passing of Jodi Hietala, a longtime member of the Ontario skating family. For over 25 years Jodi was a Provincial level Judge, Technical Official, Evaluator and Tech Rep.
