The 2025–26 school year will be remembered as one of the most successful and competitive seasons in recent memory for high school athletics across the Bay of Quinte region. Leading the way was St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School, whose Titans hockey team captured the school’s first-ever provincial championship.

High school athletics across the Bay of Quinte Athletic Association are reaching their spring seasonal peak. Local student-athletes are transitioning from historic winter championship victories directly into packed regional track schedules and diamond events.
High school sports in the Bay of Quinte are currently in the peak of the spring season as of May 2026. The most significant recent achievement is the St. Theresa Titans claiming their first-ever OFSAA A/AA Boys Hockey championship with an overtime victory at the CAA Arena in Belleville.
Astounding Heights Dance Academy is a local Trenton dance studio. We provide dance lessons for ages 2 to adults in 13 different styles. The month of July was a big one for Quinte Bay Tumbling and Acrobatic athletes. They both attended the Canadian National Championship in their respective disciplines where the best athletes from across the country come together to compete.
For the third straight year in a row Team Ontario; a local competitive team from Ontario Dance Academy has taken top spot at an advanced level competition.
The Quinte Bay Gymnastics Club Power Tumblers had a very successful weekend at the 2023 trampoline and tumbling provincial championships in Oshawa.
Five local gymnasts recently competed at Eastern Canadian championships in Sherbrooke, Quebec bringing home four gold and one bronze medal.
