The Wellington Dukes are proud to announce the Dukes Captain Dimitri Tzaferis has committed to the Middlebury College Panthers for the 2024-25 season.
Middlebury College is a Divison III NCAA program located in Middlebury, Vermont.

Although the season ended a lot sooner than many fans had hoped, the 2023-24 Dukes continue to garner attention south of the border as Dukes overage goaltender Shane Shelest has committed to NCAA Division III Cortland University Red Dragons.
Lisson, who turns 18 on March 31, went 17-10-0-3 while recording three shutouts in Wellington this season. He finished the regular season with a 2.55 goals-against average a .918 save percentage.
Committed to NCAA Division I Canisius for September, Bonisteel had the fourth best goals-against average (2.25) in the OJHL this season. Bonisteel and stable mate Brady Spry helped Trenton win the East Conference regular season title. Sidelined by a midseason injury, he still went 20-9-1-0 while accumulating six shutouts

In his first year behind the bench after a couple decades behind BCHL benches, Kent Lewis helped lead his new club to 35 wins and a third-place finish in the East Conference.
The Wellington Dukes will make the Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs this season.
That line could have been written for every season since the Dukes’ junior hockey debut 35 years ago when they merged with the Belleville Bobcats franchise and relocated to Wellington in what was then the Metro Junior Hockey League. That streak sets a Canadian Junior Hockey League record, as confirmed by the league this week.
