The Wellington Dukes held their year end player awards banquet March 1st 2025. Here are the 2024-25 Player Awards with the exception of playoff MVP trophy which will be decided at conclusion of their up and coming playoff round. Dukes will begin playoffs this week versus the Stouffville Spirit.
Dukes Captain commits to University of Waterloo Warriors Usports
The Duke of Wellington is heading to Waterloo. The Wellington Dukes are excited to announce that Captain Cory Jewitt has announced his commitment to the University of Waterloo Warriors of USports for next season.
Captain Cory Jewitt came through in the clutch again, assisting on a tying marker with 24 seconds left in regulation and stealing the puck away for a clean break and a game-winner in double overtime to stun the Stouffville Spirit 5-4.
