OJHL – RED SQUAD EDGES BLACK IN INAUGURAL OJHL 20-YEAR-OLD SHOWCASE

(OJHL)The Ontario Junior Hockey League made history Monday at Ontario Tech University, hosting its first-ever 20-Year-Old Showcase Game. It was a competitive 4-2 victory for Red over Black that put the league’s graduating prospects on display for a captive audience of Canadian university coaches.

The Trenton Golden Hawks have acquired Candon O’Neill of the Soo Thunderbirds to their roster for the upcoming season in exchange for Player Development Fee. O’Neill is from Sault Ste Marie, ON where he played AAA for his minor hockey years and last year with the Soo Thunderbirds

FOURNIER LEADS TRENTON TO VICTORY IN GAME 3 OF CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

David Fournier scored the game-winner at 10:44 of the third period to give the Trenton Golden Hawks a 5-4 win over the Collingwood Blues in Game 3 of the Ontario Junior Hockey League Nutrafarms Championship Series in Trenton Monday night.

TRENTON’S TOFFELMIRE NAMED OJHL ATHLETIC THERAPIST OF YEAR

March 26, 2024, Mississauga, ON – ….  Leah Toffelmire of the Trenton Golden Hawks is the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Athletic Therapist of the Year, the league announced today.

Toffelmire, 30. was the therapist for the OJHL’s Wellington Dukes for seven seasons before moving to the Golden Hawks ahead of this season.
