Board chair Cathy Duggan said the club was treading water, though, as the COVID-19 pandemic and provincial restrictions continued. Longtime coach Jim Anfield, who also took on other tasks such as registrar, treasurer and equipment manager, kept a few swimmers in the pool when possible, but ultimately made the decision to step away, which the club understood.

The U16 girls won Gold in Div 1 at Ontario Cup this weekend, making them 9th overall provincially! Our 14’s won gold last weekend, and things are looking good for our two U19 teams competing this weekend – one for Ontario Cup, and one for the Provincial Championship.

After launching successful leagues in Whitby and Cobourg in recent years, Andee Kitchen – now a Belleville resident – is adding Stirling and Napanee to the mix.

All eight teams will be in action at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre as they face off against their respective Peterborough Petes AAA counterparts.

Sports are not cheap. At minimum, families will spend $1,000 annually per child on sports. That $1,000 gets your child into introductory or recreational leagues and activities. What if your child is very talented or exceptional when playing at these recreational levels, what’s next?

The 2022 Super Series season concluded this past September 10–11 weekend, culminating the first full season since 2019. Over the course of the year, over 150 riders came out to test themselves against some of the best Pro and Amateur riders in Canada.
