The Ontario Junior Hockey League’s 2025 Championship Series final, featuring the East Conference champion Trenton Golden Hawks and the West Conference winners, the Milton Menace, begins Saturday night in Trenton.

Kieran Litterick’s goal at 7:56 of double overtime lifted the Haliburton County Huskies to a 4-3 win over the Trenton Golden Hawks in Ontario Junior Hockey League playoff action in Trenton Thursday.

The Trenton Golden Hawks showed why they’re among the top teams on the country, as they finished off the Spirit 5-0 in game five, winning the East semifinal four games to one.

There are teams, down 2-0 and heading on the road in a playoff series without a star player, that would have thrown in the towel. Not the Stouffville Spirit. After trailing 1-0 for more than half the game, Stouffville rallied for a 2-1 win at Trenton, and cutting the Golden Hawks series lead in half.

The Ontario Junior Hockey League today announced its First and Second Prospect Teams members for the 2024-25 season.
Eligible players were born in 2007 and 2008.
