The Belleville Sports Hall of Fame (BSHoF) is pleased to announce a new format for the Belleville High School Athlete of the Year ceremony. The event, which will take place on Monday June 26 at 6:30 pm, will now be separate from the BSHoF induction ceremony, and will focus solely on highlighting the outstanding achievements of young athletes from the community.

The inaugural 1987 Induction Class included two accomplished female athletes in Betty Ingram Wonnacott and Sarah Thompson. The Belleville Sports Hall of Fame came into being in 1987 and today has over 100 athletes, builders and teams as members.
