The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced that it is rolling out the first phase of its video review program this fall. The program, the first of its kind at the Junior A level in Canada, was approved by the OJHL’s board of directors in June.
Senators Sports & Entertainment announced today that the agreement to purchase the Ottawa Senators by an entity controlled by Michael Andlauer has been approved by the National Hockey League’s Board of Governors and the sale process has been completed. Andlauer will assume control of the organization’s operations, effective immediately.

Prior to the current Dukes home opener versus the Toronto Jr. Canadiens, the organization will honour more than 40 alumni players, former coaches, staff members and volunteers for their time spent with the team, dating back to the late 80s and early 90s. Many of the older players came from the former Jr. B days of the Belleville/Trenton Bobcats that transitioned to the Dukes.
