The Bulldogs U16 Girls Team 1 won 26-5 against Brock, with tries scored by Mackenna Lowry, Rachel Gelinas, Miriam Jesse, and Kaylee Macdonald. Alex Dewar successfully made 4 conversions.Â
The women, sponsored by Donahoe Advantage, travelled to Ajax where they dominated 60-7 over the Ajax Wanderers. Tries were scored by Mackenzie Lapierre (2), Esther Oyetoran (2), Jess Hercus, Lizz Chisholm, Annabelle Clements, Halle Woodcock, Shelly Malette and Sydney Patterson.

The Bulldogs Senior Men’s rugby team was back in action after a lengthy hiatus from the pitch. They played host to the Ajax Wanderers in an exhibition game on Saturday, May 6 at Centennial SS.
With a neverending drive to grow the game, the Belleville Bulldogs welcome everyone to give rugby a try.Â

With the return of high school sports to a more regular schedule this fall, the Bayside Secondary School Devils enjoyed tremendous success. Accomplishments, both as teams and individuals, were achieved in cross-country running, football, golf, rugby, soccer and more.
Six teams, including the host Loyalist College Lancers, will compete Saturday for the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Women’s Rugby Sevens championship in Belleville.
