Super Series Grand Finale, A Thrilling Championship Weekend

The 2022 Super Series season concluded this past September 10–11 weekend, culminating the first full season since 2019. Over the course of the year, over 150 riders came out to test themselves against some of the best Pro and Amateur riders in Canada.

With an appreciation for the history of Shannonville Motorsport Park, John Bondar was also excited for its future back in the fall of 2019. That’s when it was announced Bondar and Steve Gidman had purchased the racing venue east of Belleville. Bondar’s fascination with motorsports dates back more than 45 years.

The 2021 season will look a little different than the club’s inaugural season in 2019. With ongoing restrictions and ice going into arenas, the club is moving all play outdoors, which will be a new and exciting way for young players to discover the sport.
