ABOUT PREMIERE - COBOURG and BRIGHTON
We bring a passion for dance in our modern dance studios, locally owned and operated by dynamic professional dance teachers.
We provide a nurturing environment for young dancers through careful technical training recognised world-wide.
We provide unique experience through performance and working with professional dance artists.
We promote friendships and team building through group activities and getting involved with our community.
We bring the values of the technique and traditions of dance to meet with the latest knowledge of contemporary styles that score the highest points in enjoyment and skill.
Our talented teachers are passionate about dance and teaching as a team, combining our variety of skills in experience and artistry to create a rewarding experience for our dancers. The Premiere Dancers collaborate with local artists such as Aengus Finnan at the Cobourg Canada Day Bandshell Show, the Northumberland Orchestra, Oriana Choir, Cobourg Buskers Festival, Estival and "Murder in the Moonlight" Benefit for the Port Hope Capitol Theatre.
Premiere Dance Cobourg encourages fitness for all ages, fosters local talent by hiring dynamic professional performing artists, and promotes the arts in the community through active participation in local benefits for charitable organizations such as UNITED WAY, Dancing with the Docs, Canadian Cancer Society, Community Care, The Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank, Humane Society and The Northumberland Hills Hospital. Premiere Dance is proud to announce that it has helped raise over $650,000 for local charities.
