Playoff hockey is in full swing across the organization, with teams competing in multiple games throughout the week as the push toward OMHA Championship Weekend continues. Several QRD squads are gaining momentum at the right time

Playoff intensity continues to rise across the organization as several teams push deeper into postseason action while others build momentum at just the right time. The Quinte AAA Red Devils’ combined record now stands at 207-87-29, reflecting another strong and competitive week across all divisions.

BELLEVILLE, ON – The Belleville Senators may have suffered a pair of tough losses to the North Division rival Utica Comets (AHL Affiliate of the New Jersey Devils) this past weekend, but they’re still in the hunt for a Calder Cup Playoff berth, with 16 games to go in the regular season.

As the season transitions into playoff mode, the Quinte AAA Red Devils are seeing a mix of teams beginning post-season play while others close out their regular season schedules. With standings finalized in several divisions and playoff positioning underway, intensity continues to rise across the organization.

As of mid-February 2026, the Quinte Red Devils (QRD) are in high-stakes action, with the U16 team leading their OMHA East playoff group (2 points) after recently hosting a successful showcase.

BELLEVILLE, ONÂ – The Belleville Senators wrapped up their long-weekend swing by welcoming back the Hershey Bears, winning a hard-fought 3-1 battle.

It was a standout week for the Quinte Red Devils, highlighted by the organization proudly hosting the OMHA East U16AAA Showcase at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre from February 6–8. The event welcomed all 11 OMHA East U16AAA teams and showcased some of the province’s top talent as players continue to prepare for the upcoming OHL Priority Selection.

The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced Hockey Canada has unveiled the schedules and ticket package details for the 2026 editions of the Esso Cup, TELUS Cup and Centennial Cup, presented by Tim Hortons.

This week’s highlights – The Breakaway Fuels U12 Devils played a road game Saturday before skating their final home game of the regular season in Campbellford on Sunday.
