For this year, the Bayhawks were already planning to operate a scaled-down program for six weeks involving a combination of player development and games while floor time is available at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre in Belleville.
Even though the physical gym has been closed, CrossFit Belleville continues to provide athletes with online daily programming specific to “at home” workouts that require little to no equipment.
There is a misconception that you need to be “fit” before you can start CrossFit, but the reality is that there are entry points for anyone.
With the current uncertainty surrounding the 2020 box lacrosse season due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the QMLA is looking forward to the fall and 2021 season to regain momentum and continue to grow the sport in the Quinte region.
