Our U18 boys 1sts team kicked off the season with a 45-14 loss against Kingston. Tries scored by Cater Ward and Mitchell Trumble. Conversions by Caius Allin and Same Jones. The U18 boys 2nds team lost 47-0 against Peterborough.

The Trenton Golden Hawks were eliminated from the Centennial Cup national Jr. A championship in Calgary Saturday night.
The Ontario Junior Hockey League champions lost 4-3 to Saskatchewan’s Melfort Mustangs in their semifinal game at the 10-team event.

The Trenton Golden Hawks rolled to a 6-2 win over the Grand Prairie Storm from Alberta at the Centennial Cup national Jr. A championship in Calgary Tuesday night.
David Fournier had his second straight two-goal game to pace the Golden Hawks (2-1-0-1), who led 4-1 after the first period.
The Ontario Junior Hockey League champions have nine points, two more than the Northern Manitoba Blizzard.

Local Skating Clubs Mourn Loss of Hietala

Skate Ontario is saddened to learn of the passing of Jodi Hietala, a longtime member of the Ontario skating family. For over 25 years Jodi was a Provincial level Judge, Technical Official, Evaluator and Tech Rep.
