On Tuesday November 30th the Stampkrete QRD U12’s hosted the Central Ontario Wolves at the Marmora Arena. It was a back and forth affair, with both clubs trading scoring opportunities.
This weekend the U14 Free Flow Petroleum Quinte Red Devils went 3-1-1 at the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs Tournament.
The Stampkrete QRD U12’s travelled to Whitby on the weekend to participate in the prestigious Silver Stick Tournament. With a 3-0-1 record after round robin play, QRD would place 1st in their pool and secure the 2nd seed going into the quarter-finals on Sunday.

The technical aspect of backward skating is often overlooked at practices. It is important that all forwards on the team learn to skate backwards, just as efficiently as the defensemen, to really improve their 2-way game. All players at some point in the game are placed in defensive situations.
