Missing a full season of regular Provincial Junior Hockey League action had an interesting affect on the Campbellford Rebels.

Aiden MacIntosh scored twice and Dalton Bancoft had a four-point outing as the Golden Hawks downed the Dukes 5-3 in Game 2 of the Hasty P’s Challenge Cup, an eight-game regular season showdown between the two clubs.

It was the third straight win for the Dukes (6-5-0-1), which will host Game 2 of the Hasty P’s Cup on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. against the Trenton Golden Hawks (9-1-0-2).

For the second straight game at the Ontario Junior Hockey League Governors’ Showcase in Cobourg, two goals were enough for the Wellington Dukes to emerge victorious.
