The Fall 2026 Bay of Quinte high school sports season is officially underway, bringing action across the region with recent opening matchups, dominant early-season rugby scorelines, and highly anticipated field events

The 2025–26 school year will be remembered as one of the most successful and competitive seasons in recent memory for high school athletics across the Bay of Quinte region. Leading the way was St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School, whose Titans hockey team captured the school’s first-ever provincial championship.
High school athletics across the Bay of Quinte Athletic Association are reaching their spring seasonal peak. Local student-athletes are transitioning from historic winter championship victories directly into packed regional track schedules and diamond events.
High school sports in the Bay of Quinte are currently in the peak of the spring season as of May 2026. The most significant recent achievement is the St. Theresa Titans claiming their first-ever OFSAA A/AA Boys Hockey championship with an overtime victory at the CAA Arena in Belleville.
Meloni Crandall of Consecon, Dominique Jenkins of Stirling, Stephanie McGinn of Frankford won the 2023 Softball Canada Women’s Slopitch Canadians in Dorchester, ON with the Angels.
The Township of Tyendinaga has a variety of recreation opportunities for both youth and adults. Having great facilities, for starters, makes that possible.
