(BELLEVILLE, ON, Mar. 12, 2026) – Five local cheerleaders from Pegasus Cheer have earned invitations to compete at the Cheer Challenge Cup Nationals, taking place March 27-29, 2026, in Blue Mountain, Ontario.Â

Pegasus Cheer recently competed at two
competitions on back-to-back weekends and brought home impressive results. On Sunday, February 22nd, 2026, Pegasus Cheer competed at Beast of the East at
Queen’s University in Kingston.

The Orillia 2026 Ontario Winter Games kicked off with explosive energy as young athletes from across the province gathered to compete in 17 different sports. Among the standout performances of the first weekend (February 19–22), weightlifters from the Victory Barbell Club delivered a masterclass in strength and technique at the Rotary Place venue.

Top Individual Performances: At Presqu’ile Lanes, Eileen Bird recently achieved the High Triple POA (+163) in the Tuesday Night Mixed league. Notable single-game scores of 323 were posted by Drew Wagar and Savannah Sharp.

Clarke made her official Olympic debut at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, representing Team Canada. At 21 years old, she finished 19th overall in the women’s individual skeleton event on February 14, 2026

Michaud and his partner Lia Pereira finished fifth overall in the pairs event on February 9, 2026. Earlier in the competition, they briefly held the top spot during the short program with a personal best score of 74.60

As of mid-February 2026, the Loyalist Lancers are dominating, with the Women’s Basketball team hitting a 14-0 record after defeating Algonquin on Feb. 13
Women’s Volleyball secured playoff home-court advantage following wins against Centennial and La Cite. Men’s Basketball recently upset first-place Durham.
