In front of a packed Henderson Recreation Centre crowd of 945, the Picton Pirates showed exactly what championship hockey looks like — grit, discipline, and belief — grinding out a 3–2 Game 7 victory over the Amherstview Jets to win the series.

NAPANEE, ON — The Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) has officially announced its 2025-2026 season awards, naming Jacob Brown of the Napanee Raiders as the Tod Division Goalie of the Year. Brown, a native of Yarker, Ontario, emerged as a foundational piece for the Raiders this season after joining the club with an impressive pedigree.

The Picton Pirates are proud to announce the appointment of Jamie Lane as General Manager and Head Coach, effective immediately. Lane has a strong background in hockey operations, leadership, and player development, and is poised to guide the Pirates into a new era of success both on and off the ice.

While the Raiders are squarely focused on playing strong playoff hockey and chasing another Provincial Junior Hockey League Tod Division title for Napanee, they must also consider their future.

The previous owners tirelessly invested money, talent, and knowledge to enhance the team’s performance. However, they faced numerous challenges on their own.
