Jackie Jarrell was born and raised in Corbyville, Ontario growing up on her family dairy farm, RJ Farms. She played minor hockey with the boys Belleville Bobcats “AA” and the Quinte Red Devils “AAA.”

In September of 2020 when most local boys’ team were grounded from any games, the ingenuity and creativity displayed by the coaching staff allowed the girls to play modified games against other teams until December.

Quinte Bayhawks registration delayed

For this year, the Bayhawks were already planning to operate a scaled-down program for six weeks involving a combination of player development and games while floor time is available at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre in Belleville.
