Bulldogs Update May 26, 2025

SATURDAY: 

The senior women had a historic day on Saturday fielding two sides for the first time ever. The seconds team beat Peterborough 17-14 with tries from Kenziee Onions, Rachelle Malette, and Katie McFaul. Hannah Bender kicked a convert in the win. The firsts team came up against a tough Peterborough side losing 18-0. 

Meanwhile, the men’s seconds side beat the Saracens 45-3 with tries from Neil Hennessy (2), Curtis Murray, Zach Avery, Dominic Robinson, Case McFarland, and Cooper Facette-Grondin. Case McFarland added 5 conversion kicks in the win. The men’s firsts team defeated the Saracens 66-7 with tries from Demetris Christopher (2), Zach Smith (2), Alec Bauer (2), Alex Arsenault (2), Ethan Kort, and Cody Travers. Devin McCann added 8 converts in the win. 

SUNDAY: 

The Old Boys, over 35 team, played against Lanark/ Brockville in their season opener in Perth. The lost 20-10 with 2 tries from Ben Way. 

Next up for the senior teams: The men are on the road next Saturday, May 31 to play the Bay Street Pigs while the women host the Ottawa Irish on Sunday, June 1. We also host U14 Boys next Sunday while the U14 Girls are on the road to Cobourg.
