The Belleville Senators are pleased to announce initial details for their home opener and fan fest presented by CAA on Saturday, October 21, versus the Laval Rocket at 7:00 p.m., where all fans in attendance will receive a cowbell, courtesy of CAA.The festivities will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a special red-carpet entrance, where fans will be able to meet and receive autographs from their favorite players as they arrive.
The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced that it is rolling out the first phase of its video review program this fall. The program, the first of its kind at the Junior A level in Canada, was approved by the OJHL’s board of directors in June.
Senators Sports & Entertainment announced today that the agreement to purchase the Ottawa Senators by an entity controlled by Michael Andlauer has been approved by the National Hockey League’s Board of Governors and the sale process has been completed. Andlauer will assume control of the organization’s operations, effective immediately.

BELLEVILLE, ON – Ottawa Senators general manager Pierre Dorion announced today additions to the team’s hockey operations department. An Ottawa native, and former Senators forward, Ben Sexton has been promoted from the American Hockey League’s Belleville Senators and joins Senators’ head coach D.J. Smith’s staff as an assistant coach.
