They both attended the Canadian National Championship in their respective disciplines where the best athletes from across the country come together to compete.

Canadian National Championships for acrobatic gymnastics were hosted in Oakville July 7 to 9. Athletes Paige Baldwin, Kiley Lafleur and Natalie Reilly competed against other top Acrobatic athletes from across Canada in the Women’s Trio, Level 7 Age 14+ division.

After two days of competition, they won the overall gold, which is the first Acro gold medal from a national competition for Quinte Bay.

Canadian National Championships for tumbling were hosted in Edmonton July 19 to 23. Quinte Bay Gymnastics Club sent seven national power tumblers to this event along with coach Katelyn Thompson who was named Ontario team coach.
