On Tuesday November 30th the Stampkrete QRD U12’s hosted the Central Ontario Wolves at the Marmora Arena. It was a back and forth affair, with both clubs trading scoring opportunities. After the 1st period it was tied 1-1. Lauchlan Whelan found the back of the net, assisted by Ewan Dahle and Kalum Phillips. Trent Clow would put Quinte ahead in the 2nd from Whelan and Brechyn Aird, but COW would even the score before the end of the period. In the 3rd, goals by Dahle and Aird (assists by Whelan, Joey Seguin and Coen Lowry) proved to be not enough as COW would get the best of QRD for the second time this season with a score of 5-4.
The Stampkrete QRD U12’s were forced to withdraw from The Canadians Cup Tournament in Toronto on the weekend due to Covid-19 protocol. The team is looking forward to getting back to work this upcoming weekend as they face 2 of the top teams in the league!
