14 year old Jaxon Ricketts Gets a Hole in One

On Aug 10, 2023 14 year old Jaxon Ricketts was golfing with his longtime friend Owen Sager at Oak Hills Golf Course.
Just after 7pm while on The Highlands course, Jaxon prepared to tee off Hole #8 which is a Par 4, 282 yrd hole.
Two men in their 30’s golfing in front of them had cleared from the green and were standing off to the side.
After Jaxon teed off both boys heard the golfers ahead yell something, which Owen believed was “you’re in the hole!”
As they walked closer to the green both golfers were still waiting there and they joyfully informed Jaxon that he had just got a hole in one!
As it was obvious that Jaxon was in disbelief, the men verified with Jaxon that he was using a Pinnacle ball which he confirmed he had.

Thankfully because of Jaxon’s age he wasn’t responsible to fulfill the tradition of buying a round of drinks!

Jaxon and Owen have golfed with Oak Hills Golf Course Jr memberships for the past 4 years. Over the past couples of summers a group of Stirling youth hockey players meet every Thursday in various foursomes/ twosomes to play 9 holes.

Jaxon counts himself extremely fortunate as most golfers strive for a lifetime to land a hole in one and he’s achieved it the summer going into Grade 9
