18U Lange & Fetter Motors Quinte Royals treated their fans to an exiting afternoon at Bayshore vs. Whitby AA. Going into the bottom of the 9th Royals were down 8-3. But Royals didn’t give up, scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th. Pushing the game into an extra inning!Strong pitching from Jakob Briscoe, James Johnson, Ben Demille, Ty Doolan and Colby Coe. Whitby scored one run in extras taking this one 9-8! In the bottom of the 10th inning Whitby shared their respect for Jakob Briscoe’s ability with an intentional walk. Honourable mention to Locklin Stewart for an outstanding catch in center field, by far the best catch of the season!
Royals look forward to hosting Whitby A Saturday Aug 3 at 4pm for a double header to finish the regular season
