After one more postponed game Tuesday, the Belleville Senators should be resuming their American Hockey League schedule later this week.
Belleville was scheduled to host the Syracuse Crunch on Tuesday evening, but that game has been delayed until the new year due to league COVID-19 protocols affecting the clubs. Other recently postponed games for the Sens were Dec. 15 against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Dec. 17 against Syracuse, Dec. 18 against the Providence Bruins, and Dec. 21 against the Utica Comets and Dec. 26 against the Toronto Marlies.
Tickets for the Dec. 18, 21 and 28 home games at CAA Arena remain valid and maintain full value and fans are asked to retain those tickets. When rescheduled dates are announced, Sens business staff will offer ticket-holders their exact purchase for the new date or an equal value credit on their account to go towards future ticket purchases.
The Sens (11-11-0-0) are set to return to action with three straight games against the Toronto Marlies (10-9-1-1), starting this Thursday, 7 p.m. at CAA Arena in Belleville.
Toronto will host the next two games, including a New Year’s Day match-up at 3 p.m. at Coca-Cola Coliseum. The Sens and Marlies will meet against Monday, Jan. 3 at the Coliseum, with puck drop again scheduled for 3 p.m. The game was previously scheduled for Dec. 26 at Scotiabank Arena.
