FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – The word from the Province of Ontario as of Thursday, June 24 is that motorsports facilities are permitted fans to 25 per cent of their capacity as part of Step 2 in the province’s reopening.
With this announcement, Brighton Speedway’s scheduled event on July 3 will be able to accommodate approximately 700 fans on its grandstands.
The Speedway is looking forward to welcoming spectators back to its stands once again. Along with the announcement of 25 per cent spectator capacity, new rules and guidelines have also been issued that require each person in attendance to have a reservation ahead of arriving at the Speedway.
Brighton Speedway is working on a plan to re-activate its online ticketing that will help to comply with this regulation. That may take a few days, but it’s hoped the system will be running by Tuesday, June 29 when fans will be able to purchase tickets online.
The schedule of events while in Step 2 are listed below and the remainder of the season will be revised as information is provided by the province and the guidelines around Step 3 are released.
