Following a growing demand, drivers looking for the ultimate thrill of fast driving in a controlled environment will be able to so at Shannonville Motorsport Park. GT Race Experience (GT Race) was only an idea back in 2004, when the owner, Chris Swinwood, had the opportunity to work at Palmersport Motorsport Experience in the United Kingdom, one of the most extensive motorsport experience companies in the world. In 2009 he came across another motorsport experience company in Australia and jumped on the opportunity to work with them for a season. GT Race is the culmination of racing and instructing careers coming together to create this amazing concept for people to experience the thrill of a lifetime behind the wheel of a real GT race car. GT Race hosted its first event in 2014.
