Pegasus Cheer returns to Quinte as triple crowned championships

All Pegasus teams and athletes return with top three finishes

For Immediate Release

(BELLEVILLE, ON, April 17, 2025) – On Saturday, April 12th, Pegasus Cheer competed at the Kick’s Canada Cup competition. Two teams and two individual athletes competed, earning the following placements:

● Lithium (All Star Prep U16 Level 1, ages 12 to 16) – First Place

● Indy Bridget (U12 Level 1, ages 12 to 16) – First Place

● Indy Kaelynn (U8 Level 1, ages 8 to 12) – First Place

● Chrome (All Star Prep U12 Level 1, ages 8 to 12) – Third Place

Held at the Centre Sportif du Cégep Édouard-Montpetit in Longueuil, Quebec, Kick’s Canada Cup marked the final competition the gym is attending this season. All teams and athletes hit zero – meaning no mistakes leading to deductions or legalities, a testament to these athletes working together to accomplish their goals.

“What an incredible opportunity it was as a parent to cheer on Lithium as they achieved their goal. During the performance, you could see it on their faces that they knew their hard work was paying off,” says the parent of a Lithium athlete. “We’re so proud of this team!”

These teams and athletes are now preparing for their year-end showcase, Wings Up, being held at Eastside Secondary School on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This event is open to the public, $10 per wristband, and is a great way to learn more about All Star cheerleading in the Quinte area while raising money for Hospice Quinte.
