It’s been a tremendous start to the Ontario Minor Hockey Association Eastern Triple-A (ETA) season for Quinte Red Devils teams.
All of them will be in action Saturday in Belleville as Quinte Day returns to the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre for the first time in a few years. The eight Red Devils team will face off against their respective Peterborough Petes AAA counterparts.
“That was always a real big event for us because we don’t always get all teams playing, number one on the same day, but also in the same rink on the same day,” Red Devils president Tyler Longo said in a story that was published in the Fall 2022 edition of Total Sports Quinte magazine, noting the U18 team will take on Peterborough in CAA Arena, home of the American Hockey League’s Belleville Senators. “They’re going to do the whole presentation like they would for the Sens, so a pretty cool experience for kids who are in their last year of triple-A.”
All players, families and sponsors for the Red Devils teams will also get to attend Saturday evening’s AHL game between the Senators and Syracuse Crunch.
From 12 to 5 p.m., the Red Devils teams will hold a food drive at the QSWC rinks in support of Gleaners Food Bank. Suggested items to donate include peanut butter, beans, infant formula, baby food, canned vegetables, canned fruit, pasta and rice.
Below is information about the Quinte Red Devils, provided by each of the teams. If any more information is received, this story will be updated.
