St. Theresa Titans won the COSSA Varsity Baseball Championship
The Titan played Crestwood Secondary School in the semi final.
After being down 7-3 the Titans tied Crestwood in the 7th inning and then held on on a strong defensive play by Aaron McCambridge to send the game to extra innings, where the Titans then scored 7 runs in the 8th and held on to win 14-7
The Titans played St. Mary’s from Cobourg in the final and went ahead early on the strength of Keaton Sararas’s (pronounced Sir Air ass) 7 RBI game and earned a 12-11 victory to qualify for OFSAA next weekend in Toronto.
