QUINTE RED DEVILS WEEKLY SUMMARY

The organization continues its strong start to the 2025–26 season, now holding a combined record of 96–38–12 across all age groups.

This week’s highlights include major wins from the U10s, shutout performances from the U12s and U16s, and continued undefeated play from the U13s, who improved to 11–0.

Team-by-team summaries:
• U10 â€“ Picked up two wins, defeating the Central Ontario Wolves 7–4 and shutting out the North Central Predators 5–0.
• U11 â€“ Earned a split, winning 6–4 in Peterborough before falling 6–4 to Markham.
• U12 â€“ Competed at the Silver Stick tournament in Whitby, finishing with two strong wins against Vaughan and Boston.
• U13 â€“ Remain perfect in league play, improving to 11–0 after an 8–0 win in Barrie.
• U14 â€“ Recorded a 6–0 home shutout Saturday and a 3–2 road win Sunday to sweep the weekend.
• U16 â€“ Split their games, falling 3–1 to Markham before rebounding with a dominant 10–0 win over North Central.

QUINTE RED DEVILS – WEEKLY ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY

The Quinte Red Devils AAA program wrapped up another exciting week across the organization, highlighted by strong special-teams play, shutouts, big road wins, and continued development across all age groups. As of this week, the organization holds a combined record of 96 wins, 38 losses, and 12 ties in regular-season and tournament action.


U10 – BELLEVILLE INTEGRATIVE HEALTH CENTRE RED DEVILS

Saturday, November 29 – 7–4 Win @ Central Ontario Wolves (Woodville Arena)

The Wolves opened the scoring early and added another during a Quinte line change to go up 2–0. QRD responded with resilience, scoring twice to tie the game before taking the lead 3–2. A huge shorthanded marker late in the second extended the lead to 4–2.
The Red Devils restored momentum any time the Wolves pushed back, highlighted by a massive 2-on-0 save from the Quinte goaltender to protect the lead. Tight PK work and steady pressure sealed a 7–4 victory.

Sunday, November 30 – 5–0 Win vs North Central Predators (Madoc Arena)

A scoreless first period gave way to a dominant second frame where QRD struck twice to take control. The third period was all Red Devils as they added multiple goals, controlled the puck, and protected the shutout with strong penalty killing in the final minutes.
QRD closed out the weekend with a 5–0 win, earning their first shutout of the season.

U11 – QUINTE RED DEVILS

Saturday @ Peterborough – 6–4 Win

Quinte battled back from a 0–2 deficit before exploiting Peterborough’s penalty troubles, scoring five power-play goals.
Goals: Unger (2), Elrick (2), May, Baily (EN)
Assists: White (2), Cooke (2), Withers, Kolga
Aiden Ferreira earned the win in goal.

Sunday vs Markham – 6–4 Loss (Marmora)

Unger opened the scoring (White), and the teams traded goals through two periods. Despite additional markers from Cooke and Unger (May), Markham surged ahead and held on for a 6-4 final.
Emerson Courtney was in goal for Quinte.

U12 – BREAKAWAY FUELS RED DEVILS

Silver Stick Tournament – Whitby

Game 1 – 4–2 Win vs Vaughan Kings
Goals: Pilon, Solmes, Mackie (2)
Assists: Stehlik, Templar, Dowling

Game 2 – 5–0 Win vs Boston Minutemen Flames
Goals: Simpson (2), Stehlik, VanEgmond, Plumley
Assists: Plumley, Dowling, Templar, Russell

Game 3 – 5–2 Loss vs Huron Perth Lakers
Goals: Simpson, Dowling

Game 4 – 2–0 Loss vs Chicago Reapers

The Devils finished with a strong showing, earning two wins and battling tightly with elite AAA opponents from across North America.

U13 – 417 BUS LINE RED DEVILS

Saturday – 8–0 Win @ Barrie Jr. Colts

The undefeated U13 Red Devils improved to 11–0 with a dominant victory.
Goals: Gilchrist (2), Whelan (2), Campbell (2), Reid, Beebe
Assists: Cooney (3), Nelson (3), Gilchrist (2), Beebe (2), Campbell (2), Norton, Petherick, Courtney, Doyle
Ryan Keyes earned the shutout.

U14 – MADISON EXCAVATING RED DEVILS

Saturday – 6–0 Win vs Central Ontario Wolves (QSWC)

A full-team effort saw QRD explode for five goals in the second period:
Goals: Kelly-Clarke, Bucknell, Paddon, Seeney (PP), Auciello (SH), Banks
Assists: Sprackett, Brown (2), Paddon, Auciello, Kelly-Clarke, Dipietrantonio
Ben Larmer earned the shutout.

Sunday – 3–2 Win @ Central Ontario Wolves (Woodville)

QRD struck early with goals from Auciello and Plumley (PP), then sealed the win in the third with Auciello’s second.
COW added two, but Hayden Tripp shut the door in key moments to secure the sweep.

U16 – HOCKEYSTICKMAN RED DEVILS

Saturday – 3–1 Loss vs Markham Waxers (QSWC)

Quinte struggled to generate momentum and fell 3–1.
Goal: Austin Ottenhof (Preston, Dahle)
Nathan Ferriss competed hard in goal.

Sunday – 10–0 Win vs North Central Predators (Campbellford)

The offense erupted with ten goals from:
Martin (PP), Preston (2), Dahle, Ottenhof, Clow, Lowry, Whelan, Preston, Lowry
Assists across the lineup included Laurin (2), Phillips (2), Minifie, Dee, Poskin, Clow, Lowry.

Nathan Ferriss earned the shutout as QRD improved to 27 of 30 possible points this season.
