TORONTO – Four Ontario Junior Hockey League teams are in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, released Monday.
At. No. 4 nationally this week are the Toronto Patriots. The Patriots sport a 38-7-0-1 mark in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with 10 regular season contests left on their docket.
Another OJHL squad, the Trenton Golden Hawks, come in slotted at No. 5. Trenton has won six in a row, have gone 16-1-0-0 since mid-December, and sit with a current overall total of 35-8-0-2.
The OJ’s Collingwood Blues (33-8-1-3) are ranked eighth and the Stouffville Spirit (33-9-1-0) 10th.
The Blues defeated the Patriots 5-1 in Collingwood Friday. The Blues and Spirit meet in Stouffville Saturday.
The OJHL regular season ends March 1. The first round of the playoffs is scheduled for March 6-19.
