Shannonville (ON), March 16, 2021 – Following a significantly reduced season in 2020, RACE Events is please to announce today the return to a full season in 2021 for CTCC presented by Pirelli.
Keeping in mind that some restrictions could still be in sight this season, we are committed to a safe and fulfilling return to competition and to present our fans powerful racing and spectacular performances.
The CTCC presented by Pirelli 2021 championship will be going back to a three-class structure with a TCR, GT4 and a GTSport representation. Both TCR and GT4 categories are specific to worldwide homologated models. Lists of eligible models are available on our website. Our GTSport category will showcase a variety of higher performance sports car.
“The teams are ready to be on the track and the fans are anxious to follow their performances. The hope for a return to normality as quickly as possible is obviously omnipresent and we need to be realistic and tread with prudence. We are set to go back to the track and we are confident that the authorities will get everything in order to fully move forward to a successful season” affirms Dominique Bondar, General Manager of RACE Events Inc.
Our recent announcements are part of our enhanced platform to promote Canadian motorsport with a higher level of exposure and notoriety.

Rounds 1 & 2 – May 21-22 – Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
Rounds 3 & 4 – June 25-26 – Shannonville Motorsport Park
Rounds 5 & 6 – July dates to be announced
Rounds 7 & 8 – August 13-15 – Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières
Rounds 9 & 10 – August 19-21 – Calabogie Motorsports Park
Rounds 11 & 12 – September dates to be announced
In 2020, motor sports were highly disturbed by the pandemic due to its nature of a spectator-based industry. We hope that our fans have a an enjoyable and satisfying experience after this long waiting period. We missed you too!
