OJHL -TRENTON’S ARTICHUK IS OJHL EAST CONFERENCE PLAYER-OF-THE-MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER

October 3, 2025, Mississauga, Ontario – The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced today that Taeo Artichuk of the Trenton Golden Hawks has been named the East Conference Player-of-the-Month for September after he tallied a conference-leading 20 points during nine games. His seven goals included one on the power play and a game-winner.

In his third season with the Golden Hawks, the 20-year-old from Ajax amassed 89 points during 55 regular season games last season. His team won the OJHL regular season and playoff championships. Artichuk signed in Trenton following two years with Erie of the Ontario Hockey League.

Artichuk will be honoured during a pre-game ceremony this fall.

Joseph Cadorin of the Pickering Panthers was runner-up to Artichuk as the East Conference Player-of-the-Month. The Kleinburg product had eight goals and seven assists in seven games. Signed by the Peterborough Petes in 2023, the 18-year-old played four games with the OHL team last season.
