The senior women travelled to Cobourg for an exhibition game, losing 39-27. Tries were scored by Summer Talbot Bradley, Madi Reid, Taryn McLachlan, Elayna Reid and Hayley Davies. Sierra Wood added a convert. In the spirit of the game, we lent the other team players and Paige O’Brien scored a try for Cobourg.
The U16 Girls hosted Peterborough for two games on Saturday. Belleville won the first game 20-15 with tries from Eria Fequet, Drew Spencer, Aaliyah Valentiate and Ainsley McPherson and lost the second game 37-10 with tries from Mayan Mackinnon and Phoenix Bleecker.
The U14 girls travelled to Eglinton Flats on Sunday and won both games. They beat Barrie 44-5 with tries from Tessa Candow (2), Jolee Thompson (2), Emmerson Kirk, Aza Manlow, Brianna Wareham-Gibbs and Miley Gillis. They also beat Barrhaven Scottish 29-27 with tries from Jolee Thompson (2) and Megan Dewar (3).
The U14 boys travelled to Brock RFC on Sunday for their first games of the season. They lost 25-0 to a very strong Lindsay team and won 25-10 again Peterborough with tries from Brody Smith (2), Spencer Wright, Andrew Fyke and Carter Ward.
The Old Boys (over 35) have merged with Kingston this season and played the Ottawa Senators on Sunday. They tied 30-30 with tries from Kyle Ripley (2) Bill Thompson (2), and 2 from the Kingston players.
