Jacob Vreugdenhil evened the score with 39 seconds left in regulation time as the Wellington Dukes ultimately settled for a 4-4 tie against the visiting Haliburton County Huskies in Ontario Junior Hockey League action Friday, Oct. 14 at Lehigh Arena in Wellington.
Two five-minute periods of overtime solved nothing.
Wellington (6-4-1-) is back in action at home Sunday, Oct. 16 against the St. Michael’s Buzzers (4-6-0-2). Game time is 2:30 p.m. at Lehigh Arena.
