WELLINGTON’S LISSON VOTED WARRIOR OJHL TOP GOALTENDER FOR NOVEMBER

December 6, 2023, Mississauga, Ontario – The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced today that Jack Lisson of the Wellington Dukes (Photo by Shawn Muir / OJHL Images) has been named its Warrior Goaltender of the Month for November.

The OJHL rookie went 3-1-0 during November, posting shutouts over Pickering (Nov. 10) and Aurora (Nov. 17) while sporting a 0.75 goals-against average with .976 save percentage. 

The 17-year-old from Oakville is a graduate of the Oakville Rangers and Ridley College programs. On the season, he’s 7-8-0 with a .902 save percentage and 3.10 GAA.

Jack will be presented with an OJHL watch from Baron Championship Rings at a Dukes home game.

Braeden Shalkh of the Toronto Patriots was voted runner-up to Lisson as the Goaltender of the Month. The 18-year-old from Mississauga went 5-1-1-0 during November, posting a 1.81 GAA and a .943 save percentage. Shaikh has gone 11-6-1-0 with a. 935 save percentage and 2.26 GAA since joining the Patriots from Mississauga Chargers Sept. 23.
