Fresh appearance, additional video, stats through new partnership with HockeyTech
May 29, 2023, Mississauga, ON – …. The Ontario Junior Hockey League is unveiling its new-look website this week.
Created in collaboration with Ontario-based HockeyTech (FloSports), the new site will provide fans, players, scouts and teams with the latest in online technology available across the hockey world. Aside from a fresh, updated appearance, the site will include additional graphics, video and statistical information.
The OJHL will be migrating to its new site starting this evening. Disruptions in availability are possible beginning at 11 p.m. Monday through Tuesday morning.
The new site’s address has not changed and is still: ojhl.ca.
The OJHL’s 23 teams and their websites will also be migrating to HockeyTech during the next two weeks. Content within the entire network will be built out over the summer.
“The OJHL is extremely excited to be partnering with HockeyTech on the new OJHL website interface,” said OJHL Commissioner Marty Savoy. “This partnership will provide the OJHL, member teams, fans and players with exciting, creative new content and a refreshed look for the upcoming season. Over the next couple weeks, OJHL teams will be migrating to the new site with their own fresh looks.”
Through this new partnership with HockeyTech, the OJHL will also be subscribing to LeagueStat, “the world-leading hockey stats and scoring service.” The versatile and flexible suite of tools will be utilized for the scheduling and scoring of all OJHL games. LeagueStat will provide real-time scoring across the OJHL as well as a multitude of statistical information, which will be packaged on the league site.
“The FloSports team is excited to partner with the OJHL to support their vast digital media footprint and to continue to assist this great league in leading the way in fan engagement and player development,” said Senior Global Partnerships Manager, FloSports, Derek Lebold. “We are most excited to connect their fans through viewing of live streaming games with full integration with game, player, team and league statistics.”
