Expressions of interest for Quinte Red Devils ‘AAA’ head coaching positions for the 2021-22 season are now being accepted by the Quinte Regional Minor Hockey Association, the organization announced Friday.
The deadline to apply is April 25.
All candidates must submit a completed coaching application form, which are available at https://quintedevils.com/Forms/1742/ and provide a one or two page basic outline of their season plan. The plan can be attached to the completed online application form or e-mailed to info@quintedevils.com.
Current coaches interested in returning to the same team should also provide a document on how their team has progressed during the current season. This can also be e-mailed to info@quintedevils.com.
All candidates must also provide a list of anyone they are considering for their coaching staff. There is a section for this on the online application form.
In addition, all coaches must have a minimum of Coach Level NCCP (Hockey) certification and completed the Speak Out! (PRS) and Respect in Sport (RIS) course. Coaches not meeting the minimum certification requirements will be required to obtain certification prior to the start of the season. You must also complete a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) prior to being appointed.
Those who successfully submit an application will receive an e-mail acknowledgment that it has been received.
