QUINTE RED DEVILS WEEKLY REPORT – Oct 6/25

U10 – Belleville Integrated Health Centre Red Devils

It was a jam-packed weekend of hockey action for the Belleville Integrated Health Centre U10 Red Devils, who travelled to London for the Drew Doughty Invitational hosted by the London Jr. Knights.

The tournament opened with a strong 5–3 win over the Halton Hurricanes, followed by a thrilling back-and-forth victory against the Reps Hockey Club, highlighted by two short-handed goals. The team battled hard through the weekend, facing tough competition from the Toronto Nationals and Vaughan Kings, showing grit and determination every shift.

The team would like to thank the London Jr. Knights for hosting and Judy, their team ambassador, for her support throughout the weekend.

U11 – Quinte Red Devils

The Quinte Red Devil U11’s kicked off their 2025–26 season with a strong weekend, earning a win and a tie.

Friday night in Peterborough, the Devils tied 2–2 with the Petes after a two-goal performance by Nash White and strong goaltending from Aiden Ferreira. On Sunday in Markham, Quinte surged to a 6–2 victory over the Waxers, with goals from Walker Elrick, Bentley May, Ryker Valois, Jaxson Withers, Mason Cooke, and Pearce McCormick.

U12 – Breakaway Fuels Red Devils

The Breakaway Fuels U12 Red Devils opened their season with three straight road wins.

They started strong Friday night in Barrie, earning a 4–0 shutout thanks to Jordan Andrews’ stellar play in goal. Goals came from Jackson Simpson, Jayden Stehlik, and two from Reid Haley. The momentum carried into back-to-back games in Rama against the North Central Predators, where Quinte posted 5–1 and 6–2 victories. Offensive leaders included Kai Mackie, Evan VanEgmond, Simpson, and Haley, while assists came from Stehlik, Pilon, and Russell.

U13 – 417 Bus Line Red Devils

The 417 Bus Line U13 Red Devils kicked off league play with two convincing wins against the North Central Predators.

Saturday at the QSWC, Quinte rolled to a 7–1 win with goals from Jensen Campbell (2), Max Norton (2), Ryker Thompson, Kash Nelson, and Dawson Szubzda-Hill. On Sunday in Campbellford, they shut out the Predators 9–0 behind a strong performance from goaltender Blake Laurin.

U14 – Madison Excavating Red Devils

The Madison Excavating U14 Red Devils hosted the Barrie Jr. Colts in a pair of close, hard-fought games over the weekend.

Saturday’s home opener at the QSWC saw goals from Cooper Plumley and Matthew Parsons, with assists from Everett Brown, but Barrie pulled away late to take a 4–2 win. Sunday’s rematch in Madoc ended 3–2 for Barrie despite another two-goal effort from Plumley, assisted by Antonio Auciello and Max Bucknell. Goaltenders Hayden Tripp and Ben Larmer both turned in strong performances in net, keeping their team competitive in both outings.

U16 – The HockeyStickMan Red Devils

The HockeyStickMan U16 Red Devils opened their regular season in impressive fashion with a 5–0 win over the York-Simcoe Express.

Coen Lowry scored just 17 seconds into the game, with additional goals from Andrew Laurin, Lauchlan Whelan (2), and Ewan Dahle. Goaltender play and disciplined defense helped Quinte secure the shutout.

ON DECK: The U16s head to London for the Wendy Dufton Memorial Tournament hosted by the London Jr. Knights.

U18 – Quinte Red Devils

The Quinte Red Devil U18’s opened their season with a challenging weekend, falling 10–0 to Ajax-Pickering and 3–2 to the North Central Predators.
