QUINTE RED DEVILS WEEKLY SUMMARY

The Quinte Red Devils AAA Hockey Association promotes, encourages, and fosters the development of hockey and hockey players within the Quinte Regional “AAA” zone. Our athletes continue to demonstrate commitment, competitiveness, and class as they represent our zone across Ontario. Combined, our QRD teams have produced an impressive 48 wins, 20 losses, and 5 ties in regular season play so far this year, and we look forward to building on that success in the weeks ahead.

U12 – Breakaway Fuels U12 AAA Red Devils

The Breakaway Fuels U12 Red Devils competed in the Junior Canadiens Cup in Toronto over the weekend, showcasing strong play against elite competition from both Canada and the U.S.

Quinte posted a perfect 4–0 round robin record, defeating Detroit Honeybaked, Cambridge, Red Bank, and Chicago. Their strong preliminary performance earned them a bye to the semifinal where they faced the Ohio Blue Jackets. The U12s battled back from a four-goal deficit and continued to press, pulling within one late in the game before falling just short in a 5–4 result.

ON DECK: Saturday @ Whitby, Sunday vs. Peterborough (1:00 PM, Campbellford).

U13 – 417 Bus Line U13 AAA Red Devils

The 417 Bus Line U13 Red Devils traveled to Toronto for the Tyler Cragg Memorial Canadiens Cup, finishing the event with two wins and two losses.

After setbacks in their opening games against the Toronto Young Nationals and Detroit Little Caesars, the team rebounded with strong efforts versus Wolf Pack Hockey Club and the Buffalo Jr. Sabres, posting back-to-back victories to close out tournament play.

ON DECK: Sunday @ Barrie Jr. Colts.
