Registration is open for the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club’s sail training programs
this summer.

Programs are available to youth and adults and operate from the BQYC located
at the tip of Victoria Harbour in Belleville.
Children and youth programs are for ages 8 to 17.
ICanSail is a one week-long day camp program to introduce younger, first-time
participants to the fun of sailing. The ideal age group is 8 to 11 and the primary
objectives of the program are to learn water safety and to let children
experience how fun and rewarding learning how to sail can be.

Offered during July and August, the CanSail Levels 1-4 program is two week-
long day camps following the Sail Canada CanSail program. The participants

work at their own speed to achieve nationally recognized sailing competency
levels.
For ages 17+, the Adult Learn-to-Sail Dinghy program will be offered.
Participants will learn how to sail in a single-handed Laser dinghy.
The Adult Learn-to-Sail Yachts program will not be offered in 2021 due to
COVID-19.
Online registration is available at https://bqyc.ca/sailing-school.
