QUINTE RED DEVILS WEEKLY REPORT – Nov. 27/23

On Friday evening, The Red Devils traveled to Bowmanville for an evening tilt with Clarington and skated away with an 8-0 win. Rowyn Haley and Fisher Kernohan each had a pair of goals in the game. Holden Goulah, Noah Hughes, Miller Nicholson and Cameron Stevens, all added singles.

The Belleville Senators are pleased to announce initial details for their home opener and fan fest presented by CAA on Saturday, October 21, versus the Laval Rocket at 7:00 p.m., where all fans in attendance will receive a cowbell, courtesy of CAA.The festivities will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a special red-carpet entrance, where fans will be able to meet and receive autographs from their favorite players as they arrive.

Michael Andlauer has purchased the Ottawa Senators and Belleville Senators Hockey ClubsBelleville Sens Announce Open House

Senators Sports & Entertainment announced today that the agreement to purchase the Ottawa Senators by an entity controlled by Michael Andlauer has been approved by the National Hockey League’s Board of Governors and the sale process has been completed. Andlauer will assume control of the organization’s operations, effective immediately.

Quinte Bay gymnasts excel at national championships

The month of July was a big one for Quinte Bay Tumbling and Acrobatic athletes. They both attended the Canadian National Championship in their respective disciplines where the best athletes from across the country come together to compete.

ULTIMATE FRISBEE: Belleville Club Celebrates Decade of Ultimate Competition

Belleville Ultimate Disc Association celebrated 10 years of offering frisbee competition in the Quinte region in 2022.

Now in its 11th year, BUDA has leagues year-round and is introducing the sport to younger athletes as well. 
Vice-president Jaye Dilts recalled learning of ultimate from a softball teammate before they began playing recreationally in Belleville. A small gathering tossed the disc around and played a modified game.
